The Center for Machine Perception (CMP) was established at the Czech Technical University in Prague in 1995. The mission of CMP is to provide and to develop a stimulating and open research environment for groups and scientists sharing common interests in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Robotics. CMP aims to facilitate scientific collaboration and joint research projects, to promote ambitious common scientific objectives as well as to educate and promote young scientists and their research. CMP has always been an informal body united by its members desire.
CMP provides its members the following services
- common scientific seminars, workshops and colloquia,
- active contributions to Ph.D. education,
- common infrastructure (computing resources, labs, library),
- administrative support and other services.
CMP is committed to the principles of academic freedom and obliged to rules of good scientific practice.
CMP is led by the board. The board decides about the membership, policies and services. The CMP board appoints a head.
