  annote =       {We have implemented a ferns-based classifier in
   MATLAB and applied it in image matching, object detection and
   tracking applications. We improve recognition performance,
   especially for scale changes. Additional modifications should help
   to overcome Harris corner detector inaccuracy and improve RANSAC
   homography estimation. We performed experiments with various
   real-world images and we show that our classifier is able to handle
   significant perspective changes.},
