  annote = {Repeating elements in an image pose a challenge to image
   matching as they generate false tentative correspondences. We can
   overcome the problem by detecting the repetition and matching
   entire repetitive patterns. Previous work on repetitive pattern
   detection focuses mainly on a single type of structure -- 2D
   lattice. In real world however, many repeating elements are
   arranged only on a 1D line or lack regular structure at all. The
   aim of our layered detection is to detect even unstructured
   repetition (0D pattern) and upgrade it by verifying existence of
   geometrical structure to 1D line pattern or 2D lattice pattern if
   possible. Co-segmentation of the repeating elements is used in the
   process both to verify and to find the extent of the repeating part
   of the element.},
