                  for view\=based representation of real scenes is
                  solved in this work. The following parts of the task
                  are addressed: configuration of primary views for
                  which the selection is considered, correspondence
                  matching, virtual image synthesis, evaluation of
                  selection criterion, and selection by
                  optimization. The work also presents experimental
                  results on synthetic and real data. The selection is
                  completely solved in the case of views on
                  circle. The case of views on spherical surface is
                  addressed only partially.},
