The German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Berlin-Adlershof provides imaging systems for many spaceborne and airborne missions. The activities of this institute are focused on high-resolution stereo and multispectral imaging systems on space and airborne platforms. As a by-product, we developed also terrestrial panoramic cameras, based on these systems. Because of reaching both: high resolution and a large swath, all systems are basing on CCD-line sensors. The main task of our group is the design and the check of principle functionality of high-resolution stereo systems.

The talk will describe some of these systems; will give a short description of our design and optimization approaches, as well as the stereo evaluation chain for CCD-line stereo imager.
