Visualization of neurovascular compression syndromes Anna Skibinska Neurovascular compression syndromes is the group of illnesses caused by the direct vessel adherence to the cranial nerve. Currently the best non-invasive method to detect neurovascular compression are the MRI series of 2D images. The 3D visualization would be a significant aid in surgery planning. The purpose of my work is the segmentation of vessels and nerve in the region of neurovascular compression and preparation of the images to construct a 3D model. As the nerves and vessels are from different series, the multi-modality registration is performed.
