A linear method for trinocular rectification Huaifeng Zhang NLPR, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Rectification is a useful method to simplify sterescopic matching. In this paper, a method for rectification of three independent views is proposed. Using more views improves matching accuracy but there is no linear rectification method for more than three cameras. This is the reason we concentrate on trinocular rectification. Through decomposition to projective and affine components, we obtain the rectifing homographies with a linear computational method. It is shown experimentally on real data that our algorithm performs the rectification task correctly.
