Color Coded Illumination Range Finder

The range finder based on color coded illumination allows to capture 3-D surfaces using one image only thus providing dense Euclidean reconstructions at video sampling rate. It delivers depth for each pixel in the image. The continuous "rainbow" is projected onto the scene and the colors are used to identify the rays emanating from the projector. Then, the triangulation is used to compute 3-D coordinates in the scene.
