SVAVISCA panoramic images of the CMP corridor April 06, 2001 Branislav Micusik micusb1@cmp.felk.cvut.cz http://cmp.felk.cvut.cz Date of image acquisition: 2001-04-04 Place: corridor on the second floor at E-block of Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Center for Machine Perception, CTU Prague Description of experiment: ------------------------- We obtained measurements of an L-shaped corridor using the real SVAVISCA sensor with log-polar pixel density. We used the mirror matching with the non-uniform pixel density designed by Stefan Gaechter. The offset of motion was 50cm. For motion an overhead projector trolley was used. For capturing the images we used the Giotto software from LIRA-Lab, Italy. All together 64 images were captured at equal steps along the corridor. (besides 10. and 11. steps) The enclosed file "corridor_plan.ps" depicts all these steps detailing all important distances along the corridor. The order of the images was: im01.gif - first step along corridor im64.gif - last step along corridor An animated gif "all_frames.gif" shows all the steps in one image sequence.
