Panoramic images see large view angle, and therefore
provide stable motion estimation and complete
reconstruction of surrounding scene.

Geometry of Central Panoramic Cameras.

and
Applications, pp. 85-114. Springer Verlag, 2001. (Overview
of many central catadioptric cameras, definition of panoramic &
omnidirectional image, epipolar geometry for hyperbolic and parabolic
mirrors, point normalization for epipolar geometry estimation with

for epipolar geometry central catadioptric panoramic cameras.
Many catadioptric cameras are central omnidirectional cameras and many mosaics are non-central cameras.
