CMP Canoe Trip 2011 - Lužince

Prof. Vašek Hlaváč and CMP PhD students Andrej Mikulík and Tomáš Vojíř would like to invite you to a traditional canoe trip from Friday May 27 to Sunday May 29, 2011. We will hire a bus and trailer, and provide canoes, paddles and life vests (the last item on request). We will camp overnight at the camp sites. You should bring your own tent and camping gear. You are also welcome to bring your partners and children!

Program

Friday evening

Departure from Prague at 16:50 with hired bus from parking-place at Chilska street, near metro station Opatov. Do not be late!
Arrival to Suchodol nad Lužnicí - camping site Vodácka základna

Saturday

Canoeing to camping site Mláka - 25 km down the river (In case of good conditions, the part of old river can be chosen for canoeing. Check the map!)
Camping site Majdalena seems to be suitable for lunch break - 13 km from start

Sunday

Canoeing to village Hamr - Veselí nad Lužnicí - 20 km down the river
Packing to the bus and departure to Prague
Arrival in Prague is expected in the evening hours, the same place as departure

The bus will be at our disposal during the whole trip, therefore it is not necessary to take all your belongings to the boat.

Price

We will collect an advance payment of CZK 900 per person which also makes the reservation. You do not need to pay for small kids if they do not occupy one of the two paddling seats in the canoe. We will likely pay, if possible, the campground fees to make the organization easier. Note that the actual price can differ a little according to number of participants (cost of the bus is fixed) and this will be sorted out on location.

You can pay in advance payment by bank transfer to the account 1654147153/0800 (Andrej Mikulík - Česká Spořitelna). You can pay in cash to Andrej Mikulík, but please, use this option only in exceptional situations.

Please distinguish the payment by the text "CMP canoe trip-Name Surname" in the "Message for recipient" field when ordering the transfer.

Registration

Please, fill this form as soon as you will decide to go. The registration process will be finished for you after you pay the registration fee. First pay first serve, there are limited number of seats!

If you need to change your reservation after registration, please send an e-mail to Tomáš Vojíř or Andrej Mikulík.

Participants

The maximum number of people, which will fit to the bus is 55. Your friends will be welcome. There is no need to be connected with CMP. Your name will appear here within a short time after registration.
