Awet is a PhD student at the CMP, CTU in Prague. His research focus on Computer Vision, Robotics and Autonomous Systems, particularly on Computer Vision methods for weakly/semi-supervised learning in autonomous vehicles. (see the group website).


  1. 2/2021 - now ~ PhD student in Computer Science at Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic on topic: Multimodal data analysis for autonomous systems

  2. 2018 - 2020 ~ Triple MSc degree (with honours) Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree in Image Processing and Computer Vision (EMJMD IPCV) (study program IPCV).

    Triple Degree from each Partner University, namely:

    - Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering; Specialization in IPCV: from PPCU
    - Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Image Processing and Computer Vision: from UAM
