Using a fixed camera, a sequence of 20 images per individual was taken.
During the sequence the subjects take one step forward towards the camera. This movement is used to introduce significant head (scale)
variations between images of same individual. There is about 0.5 seconds between successive frames in the sequence.

Backgrounds: the background consists of a red curtain. Background variation
is caused by shadows as subject moves forward.
Head Scale: large head scale variation
Head turn,tilt and slant: minor variation in these attributes
Position of face in image : some translation
Image lighting variation: as subject moves forward, significant lighting
changes occur on faces due to the artificial lighting arrangement
Expression Variation: some expression variation
Additional comment: there is no hairstlye variation as the images were
taken in a single session.
