Age estimation experiment

Objective

The goal of this experiment is to meassure a human ability to estimate age of other person from a photograph. The experiment participator is kindly asked to click on one (or more) face lists and to fill in estimates of the biological age for depicted persons. The ability to estimate age depends on many factors including age and gender of the human making the estimate. To messure this, the participant is also asked to fill in his/her actual age, gender and to provide a nickname. The nickname is used to merge annotations of different image sets if the participant annotates more than one.

Instructions

  1. Click on a face list below (Set 1 to Set 5). More sets you evaluate the better but even one is valuable.
  2. Fill in your actual age, gender and nickname at the top of the form.
  3. Fill in your estimate of the person's age below each image on the list.
  4. Click on "Submit form" button.

Evaluation of one set should take less than 17 minutes assuming annotation speed 1 face / per 10 seconds.
