Abstract

Camera systems become nowadays more and more ubiquitous. Multiple cameras are used in immersive virtual reality systems, in movie industry, they observe operating rooms and, of course they also watch us at many public places like airports. We will learn essential computer vision algorithms for the above applications.

Prerequisites: linear algebra at undergraduate level, some knowledge of image processing is advantageous but it is not required

Exams

Subject grading: 50 points for assignments, 50 points for written (closed book) exam. [50-65 -> 3; 66-85 -> 2; 86-100 -> 1]. Written examination takes 90 minutes, evaluation directly follows, you will know the results with some delay, 1 hour or less, depending on the number of students.
