IL1430 UV Actinic Hazard Radiometer

Meter: IL1400a Radiometer / Photometer

The IL1730 and IL1430 UV Actinic Radiometer Systems have been specifically designed for easy and accurate Threshold Limit Value (TLV) measurements in the recently updated (1990) UV Actinic wavelength range, as developed by ACGIH and recommended by NIOSH. The detectors in both systems give the correct weighting to the various wavelengths so the system is direct reading in Effective Watts/cm2.

The IL1430 Actinic Hazard Detector Head is preprogrammed to alphanumerically display units in Effective milliwatts/cm2 and Effective millijoules/cm2, with a spectral range of 200 to 400 nm (274 nm peak).

The IL1730 UV Actinic Research Radiometer System is also designed to read directly in Effective Watts/cm2 & Effective Joules/cm2, as defined by ACGIH. The effective irradiance reading can be used to calculate the recommended maximum daily exposure time based on a TLV of 1.0 x 10-7 for an eight hour exposure. The ten programmable constant memory calibration factor registers allow detector changes at the touch of a button.
