Occurences of intestinal endometriosis range from 5 - 10%. They are thought to block the estrogen receptors, so in turn excess estrogen in the body cannot 'lock-in' to these receptors. In fact, many women who suffer from endometriosis can improve their condition and their symptoms naturally by simply controlling their diet.
