Quermass-interaction process is model of random set given by a union of
interacting discs, whose centers are randomly scattered in a bounded
(planar) set and radii are random as well. The interactions among the
discs depend on geometrical characteristics (e.g. area, perimeter etc.) of
the union and on corresponding parameters. In the contribution, methods
for simulation of such process when the parameters are given and
estimation of (unknown) parameters from given data will be described.
