Virtual Strands
The "Virtual Strand" is the activity framework enabling the community to collaborate in arobotics specialty relevant to "Robots undepinning future NATO operations". The adjective "virtual" stresses the fact that strand activities could be performed remotely. The Virtual Strand has a leader who volunteers to manage its activities and link them to the Task Group. It is expected that each Virtual Strand manages its own web page for communcation with its members and with the outside world. This SAS-RTG-097 web site provides links to Virtual-Strand web pages. The Task Group SAS-RTG-097 assists communication between different Virtual Strands. In addition, the Task Group organizes workshops providing oportunities for traditional face-to-face meetings.
A possibility to start a new Virtual Strands
The Task Group SAS-RTG-097 unifies four Virtual Strands at a moment. If there is a substantiated topic and a person interested the Virtual Strand he is welcome to suggest it. The interested person should email Vaclav Hlavac, hlavac@fel.cvut.cz. Describe the intended scope of the Virtual Strand, its activities, and its expected participants. We will discuss the proposal with you.
